Frequently Asked Questions

We ask that all members of the 2022 class make every effort to make every meeting. Missing one meeting is acceptable. If a student misses more than one session and is not contributing to the class, they may be asked to step out and consider a future class. Peer participation is a big part of this program's success.

Everyone is welcome to apply. We ask that your primary duties be strategic in nature. The classes are not intended to be 'how-to' classes. They will focus on the various marketing techniques, technologies, and channels available to marketers, today. They will get detailed, but the primary focus is to help students learn new techniques, confirm their strategic direction, and hit goals.

This is a passion project for wedü. Our team is comprised of many Type A personalities that love what they do. This allows our team to focus on new and exciting technologies mixed with strong traditional activations. Strategy is often only focused on annually by companies. We believe it's an ongoing endeavor. These classes allow our wedü-ites to share their vision, practice their skill sets, learn across multiple industries, and create great professional friendships.

We will cover many channels from traditional media to the latest marketing technology. The greatest interest tends to be what's new and exciting. However, part of our team's focus will be to show the connections between all channels and how to create perpetual programs that are constantly enhanced. Before the first class, each student will have a 1:1 with a wedü coach. Based on feedback and what will be most beneficial to the class overall, wedü will set the detailed syllabus.

We ask for active participation. Having real-life examples allows the classes to be very effective. Likewise, many students find the input of a dozen other professionals extremely helpful in their marketing efforts. There is no requirement here for privacy reasons. You are encouraged to pick a day and an area of concentration where you may be more inclined to be a subject-matter example and problem-solving case for the class.

The education portion is naturally the focus of EPIC. Each meeting will host one outside professional for a 1-hour presentation with Q&A. These will not be sales pitches. They will be professionals sharing a marketing technique, approach, or technology that is now available. For instance, one day will most likely concentrate on the world of data and what's available from partners like Acxiom or other credit/data agencies. In addition to our outside partners, the wedü team will provide insights during the classes. wedü is comprised of professionals with decades of experience. We will call on our most seasoned professionals and some of our youngest, most ambitious (and prolific users) marketing technology users.

Yes. We are absolutely positive that all marketing professionals in the B2C space will benefit from these classes. Subject matter will apply to everyone. The more input and sharing you do as a student, the more the classes will be catered to meet the needs of all students. The 1:1 session with a wedü coach will also be extremely valuable for each individual outside of the class activities. If you wish to have a partner in crime for 2022, want to be encouraged to hit goals, seek to be inspired, and have a top-notch sounding board…. this is for you.
